Background
Q2 Engineering Sdn. Bhd. (Q2) is a Malaysian registered company fully owned by Q2 A/S in Denmark, which is a joint venture between Pendo A/S, a renowned Danish investor, and GasCon ApS having more than 15 years of technology know-how and experience in the field of landfill gas and biogas extraction and utilisation as well as power generation. A brainchild of its founders, Q2 has been set up to venture into carbon emission reduction projects in Asia utilising the opportunities under Kyoto Protocol.
Q2’s presence in Malaysia started since mid 2003, and has carried out many pilot and demonstration projects as well as feasibility and investigation studies. Having the technology know-how and strong financial backing, Q2 is embarking on building landfill gas facilities and biogas plants in Asia. These projects will see Q2’s position as either a turnkey contractor or a joint venture partner with a local host.

Engineers at Q2 have more than 20 years of hands-on experience within design, consultancy, turnkey and operation of landfill gas and biogas extraction systems in many countries worldwide. Due to the different nature and diversification of the projects, Q2’s engineers have the ability to adapt and adopt the local conditions as well as expand its existing technological know-how.
